The only solution to Honduras' crisis is negotiation: OAS chief

MEXICO CITY, July 24 (Xinhua) -- General Secretary of the Organization of American States Jose Miguel Insulza said on Friday that the only solution for the crisis in Honduras is the negotiation.

Moments before ousted Honduran President Miguel Zelaya crossed the border line between Nicaragua and Honduras, Insulza told international news TV channel CNN that so far there is no confrontation at the border between soldiers and Zelaya's supporters.

Insulza added that "the legitimate president of Honduras (Zelaya)'s return should be pacific," he added that he "hopes the prompt restitution of the Constitutional order in the country."

According to the U.S. Department of State, the coming week, Zelaya is expected to fly to Washington to meet with the U.S. authorities to discuss the situation in Honduras, CNN said.

Zelaya crossed on Friday the border line of Las Manos to enter his country, in his second attempt to return to his country after the coup against him on June 28.
